More BCG video

September 12th, 2010 No comments

Here’s another YouTube ‘bootleg’. This one of a great BCG original song ‘Weasel’ performed at the Rat in Boston for their ‘farewell’ show 1995.

I had a lot of fun lighting this one on no budget in the tradition of fast, loose, raw and brutal for the sold out house-full of die-hard fans. It was a really great night and embodies some of what I miss most about that former career.

You can buy their music on iTunes but sadly, for now, not this track.

A QuickTime version in better quality can be found here with other clips: http://bigcatholicguilt.com/bcg/video.html

Cool video of the last show I lit

I don’t know who uploaded this or even how they got some of the included footage but it’s still cool. Look for the ‘official’ video footage soon. What’s worth noting about this clip is that it’s a mixture of time lapse footage of the whole first set with fragments of other clips cut to a studio recording of one song.

Note: This video footage is cut to a freely downloadable studio cover of a Muse song performed by Big Catholic Guilt. Truth be told, while I think the BCG performance is good, I really don’t much like the song or Muse for that matter. Sorry guys.

Very old interview with moi

I was pleasantly surprised to see this is still around. I actually still believe all the things I said about interactive VR photography as a teaching tool.
